Job Description

Key responsibilities

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and design documents

Perform functional, regression, integration, sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile (Android & iOS) applications

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java; ensure cross-browser and cross-device test coverage

Conduct REST API testing using Postman; validate request/response payloads, status codes, and data integrity

Perform database testing on MongoDB; verify data integrity, consistency, and performance post-migration or release

Log, track, and assign defects through bug tracking tools; coordinate with development teams to ensure resolution before deployment

Conduct performance testing using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and support optimization efforts

Review user stories and requirement documents to ensure testability and adequate test coverage across all modules

Required skills

Manual testing — functional, regression, integration Selenium with Java (automation)API testing using Postman (REST)Database testing — MongoDB / SQL basics Bug tracking tools (JIRA or equivalent) Web & mobile application testing Test case design & execution

Good to have

Cucumber / BDD framework experience JMeter — performance & load testing Basic DevOps awareness Cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) Linux / macOS environment familiarity Basic Java / HTML knowledge
