Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain—to gather insights, align on forecast assumptions, and communicate demand expectations.
Forecast Accuracy Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast error.
Demand Planning Process: Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and departments.
Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and service levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to anticipate changes in demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline demand planning processes and improve efficiency.
