Job Description

What the role offers:

• Perform manual and automated testing of UI components developed using frameworks like Angular, React, and Web Components.
• Validate UI/UX implementations against design specifications and usability standards.
• Ensure cross-browser and responsive design compatibility across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Build and maintain automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user scenarios to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Conduct accessibility testing to meet WCAG guidelines and ensure inclusive design.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to identify and fix usability and performance issues early in the development cycle.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and QA strategy discussions.

Report and track bugs using tools and contribute to quality metrics and dashboards.

What you need to succeed:

• Strong experience in UI testing (manual and automation)
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI behaviour
• Experience with usability testing and UX validation
• Exposure to accessibility testing and tools like JAWS, NVDA, WAVE, and ANDI, and familiarity with ARIA standards.
• Strong understanding of performance testing for front-end components, including identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
